Implemented by the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA), the Electronic Fiscal Receipting and Invoicing System (EFRIS) is a digital solution for businesses to record and share transactions to the URA portal in real time. EFRIS improves tax administration through electronic invoicing, fiscal devices for issuing e-receipts, and real-time data transmission.

The API interface connects URA with eZee’s solutions, helping our users to directly transmit sales transaction details to the EFRIS portal in real time and keep track of their tax details.

About URA

The Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) is an initiative by the Central Government of Uganda to assess, collect, and account for Tax Revenue (including Non-Tax Revenues) and to advise the government on policies relating to all revenue sources.

Established to mobilize revenue for national development transparently and efficiently. Functioning under the Ministry of Finance, Planning, and Economic Development, it acts as the principal agency entrusted with enforcing, assessing, collecting, and accounting for all taxes levied within the nation.
